Mission & Service Commission

As a church, we are called to be in mission to serve our neighbors who are both in our community and around the world. Our mission is diverse from helping people rebuild their lives who have gone through natural disaster to serving those in our community challenged by life's circumstances.

  • Food Bank Collection

    Each January, we collected non perishable food items for the Palmyra Area Caring Cupboard, a local food bank right here in our community.

  • Baby Bottle Boomerang

    Align Ministries, formerly Susquehanna Valley Pregnancy Services, provides life giving pregnancy services to families in Lebanon & Lancaster Counties.

  • Blood Drive

    We hosted our first blood drive this spring. Look for our next blood drive this fall!

  • BHA Adopt an Apartment

    Mt. Wilson adopted an apartment a few years ago. We're happy to share our congregation's talents to repair and furnish it for families in need!

  • Trunk or Treat

    Each October we host "Trunk or Treat", a safe place for families to bring their children for some candy, games and fun! 

  • Safety Fair

    Last fall, we held our first Super Heroes Safety Fair! It included information about fire safety, emergency care, bike safety and brake, oil & tire checks! 

  • BDM Workcamps

    Mt. Wilson is blessed with many talented people who are willing to take a week off of work and away from home to help others in need. Our next group is heading out October 22, 2023.

  • Movie On The Mountain

    Periodically we'll offer an outdoor movie! It's always tons of fun. We offer door prizes, popcorn, hot dogs and snacks. Keep a look out for our next movie night!

  • Fresh Start Resource Center & Emergency Shelter

    Volunteers from Mt. Wilson help with over night supervision at the homeless shelter in Lebanon.
